About the Role
We are seeking a Data Technical Business Analyst to join our clients team. In this role you will be responsible for:
- Conducting indepth data analysis and requirement gathering
- Preparing mapping and BRD documents utilizing knowledge of data lineage and data profiling
- Understanding data transformation logics applicable in the data flow with strong knowledge of data lakes and basic big data skills
- Supporting data modelers in preparing logical and physical data models
- Effectively communicating with stakeholders and being across the data governance process for each project
The Successful Candidate
The ideal candidate will have:
- A strong understanding of data mapping and transformation data profiling data lineage data modeling and data classification concepts
- Basic data modeling skills (e.g. SCD type 1 type 2 tables different types of models and databases)
- Basic understanding of Hive Hadoop ecosystem and big data skills
- Experience in the banking domain
- Excellent analytical and technical problemsolving skills
- Exceptional communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders
- A passion for data analysis and a diligent hardworking attitude
