Job Description
Senior Staff Nurse
Bournemouth Hospital PreAssessment Permanent contract Full time
Up to 40000 per annum depending on experience
37.5 hours per week

As a Senior Staff Nurse at our Bournemouth Hospital youre registered with the appropriate governing body and you hold the relevant qualifications and experience including NMC. As well as postregistration experience you bring knowledge of mentoring and multispecialty surgical procedures. Ideally you hold qualifications in teaching and assessment and management.
As a Senior Staff Nurse you will:
Be experienced in PreAssessment
Lead by example and be an ambassador for the Nuffield Health way of caring
Recognise talent and nurture junior colleagues mentoring them to be the best they can be
Use your excellent clinical skills and empathetic approach to meet each patients needs
Enjoy autonomy to make decisions that ensure excellent patient care
Provide daytoday supervision including clinical supervision of junior nursing staff and students
Contribute to scheduling and rotas recruitment induction performance reviews and training
