Our Continuous improvement and performance analytics team within the Downstream Operations Excellence function has an excellent opportunity for a Reporting and Analytics student to support to the team. Key pieces of the role include data collection visualization of data analyzing data and providing key insights as well as development and monitoring reports for improvements. The successful candidate will be highly organized energetic and work well in a fastpaced team environment that requires taking initiative and managing multiple priorities.

What youll do

• Maintain databases and perform updates as necessary to ensure accuracy.

• Regularly examine data reports to locate and resolve mistakes throughout.

• Accurately analyze and collect data for various types of business reports.

• Create business reports that provide insight into key data points.

• Communicate the results of data analysis in written and verbal form.

• Support and gather requirements from the manufacturing assets.

• Monitor data to identify changes trends and improvements.

Who you are

Our ideal candidate will have the following minimum qualifications:

• Legally authorized to work in Canadafulltime for the duration of your work term and able to produce documentation upon application (e.g. work visa)

• Available to begin work in September 2025.

• Analytical skills that allow for the development of datadriven reports.

• Ability to use Microsoft Excel to create pivot tables graphs and charts.

• Excellent critical thinking skills to help solve business problems and make recommendations.

• Tendency to pay close attention to small details that could impact results.

• General knowledge of business operations objectives strategies process and information flow.

Education

• Must be enrolled in a Finance Economics Computer/Data Science or Engineering Undergraduate Program at an accredited postsecondary institution at the time of intended work term and returning to fulltime studies after the work termOR registered in an accredited postsecondary coop or internship program for the duration of the work term

• Candidates currently enrolled in either a Masters or Ph.D. program at an accredited postsecondary institution may also be considered

• New graduates are not eligible for student opportunities.
