Georgia Military College is seeking to hire current students to participate in ourFederal Work StudyProgramat all of our campus locations!

Qualifications to work for FWS are as follows. StudentsMUST:

• have completed a financial aid file
• have need as determined by FAFSA
• be in good standing status according to GMCs Satisfactory Academic Policy
• have a High School Diploma/GED.

Eligibilityfor participation inthe FWS Program is determined by Financial Aid.If your financial aid file/FAFSA is not complete at the time that your application is submitted therewill bea delay processing your eligibility for the Program. To ensure quick turnaround time from when your application is submitted to when youre notified of your eligibility its recommended to check with your Campus Financial Aid Office and establish that your financial aid file is completed prior to applying.

*FWS is a needbased program. If you are deemed eligible forparticipation in theFWSProgram please note that receiving any sort of student loan (or other form of Financial Aid not initially calculated in your file)afterthe initial award amount and/or eligibilityhas been determined by Financial Aid your eligibility for participation in the FWS Program couldpotentiallychange even if you are already working under the Program.This could mean an increase or decrease of aid award or being deemed ineligible to participate in the FWS program. If you have questions about this please contact your Campus Financial Aid office for clarification.

Georgia Military College employees are required to enroll in direct deposit as the institution does not issue paychecks. New hires will be required to upload account information for direct deposit within the onboarding process prior to their start date. Employees have the ability to add remove and change account information within their Paycom Employee SelfService portal.
