About the Role
As an Audit Manager you will manage a diverse charityspecific clientportfolio overseeing workflow and delivering exceptional service. You willplay a pivotal role in supporting charitable organisations and making atangible impact on the communities they serve.
Key Responsibilities
Client and Audit Management
- Oversee planning prioritisation and delivery of audit work to ensure efficient workflows and adherence to agreed budgets.
- Manage a portfolio of charity and notforprofit clients ensuring compliance with Charity SORP UK GAAP and ISA requirements.
- Act as the primary contact for client queries delivering proactive valueadded advice.
- Collaborate with internal teams to address client needs across other service areas such as tax and advisory.
- Ensure all compliance requirements are met including AML KYC reviews and engagement letters.
- Oversee the work and development of junior members of staff.
- Help further develop the practices charity audit offering.

We are looking for a qualified accountant who thrives in audit andshares our passion for supporting the charity and notforprofit sector. Theideal candidate will be:
- Qualified: ACA or ACCA qualified with experience in statutory audit.
- Sector Specialist: Knowledge and experience of Charity SORP is essential.
- Experienced: Previous responsibility for a portfolio of clients including preparation and review of charity accounts.
- ClientFocused: Strong client service and communication skills.
- Organised: Excellent time management attention to detail and accuracy.
- Collaborative: A team player with strong mentoring and leadership abilities.
