Key Duties and Responsibilities The inventory control specialist has the primary responsibility of increasing and maintaining company profitability by maintaining accurate inventory levels handling all inventoryrelated issues from start to finish and works on ensuring that optimal inventory is present and ready for shipment.
Receiving:Managing labor on container unloads filled with inventory. Confirming inbound inventory and accuracy on container pick list. Storing and moving inventory into designated warehouses/areas. Adding confirmed inventory onto inventory sheets.
Accuracy: Managing accuracy of inventory levels by cycle counts every week or two weeks. Confirming inventory pick lists for inbound/Outbound inventory and load BOL of shipment.
Inquiries: Assisting warehouse team in finding inventory for outbound orders.
Confirming remaining inventory for ordering processing team.
Assists in rootcause analysis for inventory errors
Assigns product location to all incoming items
Monitors and updates companywide inventory schedule
Follows all existing company policies and procedures
Maintaining strict guides on inventory organization and placement within warehouse.
Technology: Experience with inventory management software/barcode Scanner
Skills and Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years of inventory management with college degree
Software knowledge *will provide training inventory management with MS365BC* MS Excel Word Email.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
