Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Engineering Test Technician to join our team and play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our cuttingedge storage systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background a passion for technology and a commitment to delivering exceptional results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive testing of storage systems and components to validate performance reliability and functionality.
- Execute detailed test plans including test cases procedures and scenarios to ensure comprehensive coverage of system features and requirements.
- Identify diagnose and resolve technical issues and defects in storage systems. Collaborate with Manufacturing Test Engineering to provide feedback and solutions for complex problems.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of test results procedures and issues. Prepare comprehensive test reports and documentation to communicate findings to engineering and management teams.
- Utilize test automation tools and develop test scripts to enhance testing efficiency.
- Collaborate closely with Manufacturing Test Engineering
- Stay current with industry trends technologies and best practices.
Qualifications:
- AS degree in Computer Science and/or Information Systems.
- Proven experience in system testing with a focus on storage systems and components.
- Strong understanding of storage technologies including SSDs HDDs RAID configurations and related components.
- Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- Ability to work flexible hours and multitask in a fastpaced environment.
- Ability to work well under pressure of meeting deadlines without compromising the quality of work.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to travel in USA
Preferred Qualifications: 5 years of work experience with Intelbased hardware and Linuxbased operating systems in commercial manufacturing environment.
Candidates who start on or after March 5 2025 will be eligible to receive a $750 signon bonus as a welcome to our team. This bonus is our way of showing appreciation for choosing to grow your career with us.
Pay range is $28.85/ hour $34.60/ hour. If FT eligible for a 5 target bonus.
