Job Description
At Adaptyv our highthroughput cloud lab enables protein designers to experimentally validate their proteins with the click of a button. Were building advanced molecular biology workflows assay automation and software infrastructure to make it easy for our users to engineer better proteins. Since the launch of our beta access in June 2024 weve been growing rapidly and are now working with the fastestmoving protein design teams in the world across tech bio startups major AI companies and the biggest pharmas.
About the role
We are looking for highly capable Software Engineering Interns to join our team and help build software product that accelerate protein design. This is a fastpaced handson role where youll work on backend frontend and infrastructure development ship fast and solve complex problems efficiently.
What Youll Do
Work across backend frontend or fullstack development depending on your strengths and interests.
Collaborate with our team and customers to build internal or customerfacing software that drives realworld biological discoveries.
Build AI tooling to automate business processes and biology workflows and develop new products that help our customers and our internal teams to move faster
What Were Looking For
Currently pursuing a BS MS or PhD in Computer Science Software Engineering Bioinformatics or a related field.
Ideally familiarity with protein design and bioengineering or strong willingness to learn
Proven ability to build and ship projects fastwe value over credentials.
Strong coding skills in Python and TypeScript
Experience with AIdriven software development tools such as Cursor v0 Lovable Github Copilot and co
Familiarity with modern web frameworks cloud infrastructure (AWS Modal) and APIs.
A problemsolving mindsetyou can break down complex challenges and develop solutions independently.
Selfstarter mentalityyou can take initiative work autonomously and iterate fast in an unstructured environment.
