$45.00 $54.25 per hour DOE

Seeking a Analog Power Design EngineerinMcLeansville NCfor Undersea Systems youll be a member of a cross functional team responsible for developing Undersea Communication systems.
Qualifications Required:
- Active Top Secret Clearance
- Requires a Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or a related Science Engineering or Mathematics field. Also requires 5 years of jobrelated experience or a Masters degree plus 3 years of jobrelated experience.
- High Voltage DC Power systems / Module design. Experience should include multiple power topology design experience from few watts to KW converters.
- High voltage applications power transmission systems power electronics and HVDC technology
- Expert level understanding of electrical engineering computeraided design (CAD) tools and mixed Signal circuit analysis/design
- Solid use of electrical engineering concepts principles and theories
- Circuit Design expertise
- Analog design and instrumentation (design and analysis)
- Feedback / Control systems experience
- Power System architecture and grounding
- Isolated Switching Converters
- Transmission Line Effects in power systems
- EMI test and control methods (MILSTD461 FCC / IDE / VDE etc)
- Magnetics Design and High Speed Design experience are desirable
- Strong troubleshooting ability: must be able to diagnose a problem by narrowing the point of failure sequentially through components
- The use of specialized laboratory equipment such as spectrum analyzers oscilloscopes and other test equipment for development testing and troubleshooting
- Experience in writing specifications requirements and verification procedures for complex electronic systems and components
- Ahead of technology trends with Research & Development (R&D) experience as well as advanced proficiency in test troubleshooting and analyzing circuit card schematics
- Motivated to drive innovation around design architectures assembly component selection and electronics design
- Exceptional collaboration and communication skills with demonstrated success leading design teams for complex projects
- Ability to travel as needed
- Agile experience preferred.
