Job Description

Analog Power Design Engineer

Onsite location: McLeansville NC 27301

Required: Top Secret Clearance

No 1099 No third parties no C2C. No exceptions (Sorry)

W2 Hourly Contract with limited benefits

$45.00 $54.25 per hour DOE

Flexible schedules with every other Friday off work if desired 9/80 schedule)

***No C2C we can NOT work with outside agencies/vendors and we can NOT do 1099

Seeking a Analog Power Design EngineerinMcLeansville NCfor Undersea Systems youll be a member of a cross functional team responsible for developing Undersea Communication systems.

Qualifications Required:

  • Active Top Secret Clearance
  • Requires a Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or a related Science Engineering or Mathematics field. Also requires 5 years of jobrelated experience or a Masters degree plus 3 years of jobrelated experience.
  • High Voltage DC Power systems / Module design. Experience should include multiple power topology design experience from few watts to KW converters.
  • High voltage applications power transmission systems power electronics and HVDC technology
  • Expert level understanding of electrical engineering computeraided design (CAD) tools and mixed Signal circuit analysis/design
  • Solid use of electrical engineering concepts principles and theories
  • Circuit Design expertise
  • Analog design and instrumentation (design and analysis)
  • Feedback / Control systems experience
  • Power System architecture and grounding
  • Isolated Switching Converters
  • Transmission Line Effects in power systems
  • EMI test and control methods (MILSTD461 FCC / IDE / VDE etc)
  • Magnetics Design and High Speed Design experience are desirable
  • Strong troubleshooting ability: must be able to diagnose a problem by narrowing the point of failure sequentially through components
  • The use of specialized laboratory equipment such as spectrum analyzers oscilloscopes and other test equipment for development testing and troubleshooting
  • Experience in writing specifications requirements and verification procedures for complex electronic systems and components
  • Ahead of technology trends with Research & Development (R&D) experience as well as advanced proficiency in test troubleshooting and analyzing circuit card schematics
  • Motivated to drive innovation around design architectures assembly component selection and electronics design
  • Exceptional collaboration and communication skills with demonstrated success leading design teams for complex projects
  • Ability to travel as needed
  • Agile experience preferred.
