Job Description
The Galaxy Restaurant Line Cook (FullTime or PartTime)
Job Summary
The Galaxy Restaurant is looking for a fulltime and/or parttime Line Cooks to join our Wadsworth Ohio staff. The successful Line Cook will work within a high paced team managing cooking and plating of food items. The ideal line cook candidate must have an eager attitude and be able to multitask while maintaining accuracy & cleanliness.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary for the line cook is competitive based on experience $15$17/hour DOE)
- Benefits include medical dental vision 401k vacation and sick leave.
Responsibilities of the Line Cook:
- Prepare and cook all foods according to standardized recipes and special requests
- Ensure that all kitchen equipment is properly handled and functioning efficiently
- Maintain a sanitary work environment and adhere to proper sanitation and safety guidelines
- Prep clean slice mince and dice food products as required
- Follow proper protocols for receiving checking and storing food items
Requirements for Line Cooks:
- Prior experience in a hospitality / restaurant environment
- Knowledge of standard kitchen safety practices and procedures
- Ability to read and understand recipe instructions
- Highly organized with excellent time management skills
- Ability to work well with coworkers under minimal supervision
- Must be able to work nights and weekends
