What youll be doing
The Test Environment Operations and Consulting (TEOC) team are responsible for providing operational support in 5 nonproduction mainframe environments to CIBCs mainframe application teams making code changes that require a stable up to date version of the production system to perform various testing scenarios.
As a Mainframe Software Support Specialist you will be work collaboratively with external vendors to maintain manage and schedule updates to the systems software Infrastructure. This requires knowledge of the existing and planned software technology and the global regional and local software architecture and infrastructure components (IMS/DB2/CICS). Champion system and technology integration your knowledge of features and facilities for integration and communication among applications data bases and technology platforms (IMS/DB2/CICS) will be critical. You have experience with approaches tools and techniques for anticipating recognizing and resolving technical (hardware software application or operational) issues and outages. You are able to manage multiple concurrent objectives projects groups or activities. Effective judgment in prioritizing and time allocation. You will foster key relationships with TEOCs technical and business partners to ensure proper understanding of their requirements and service expectations are managed and met.

Relationship building Working closely with the three other TEOC teams you will plan coordinate and implement change based on collaboration meetings acquiring appropriate approvals and meeting agreed to deadlines. Grow your network deepen existing relationships and collaborate with others to ensure teammates technology and business partners are connected to the right people and opportunities.
Client engagement Meet with Technology and Business partners to understand their priorities review their requirements advise them on solutions and provide any options they may be unaware of. Use your knowledge of Mainframe banking systems infrastructure and processes to help clients meet their goals.
Leveraging technology Become a technology expert. Share your knowledge by introducing clients to TEOCs offerings and key capabilities enabling them to better manage their mainframe testing needs.

Who you are
You have extensive hands on experience of 510 years of working with systems software infrastructure. Knowledge of existing software technologies and their global regional and local software architecture/infrastructure components.
You can demonstrate experience with effectively managing changes to mainframe environments (application software databases operating systems software hardware). Ability to support and implement changes to mainframe application databases and tables.
