The amazing team at MaineGeneral Rehabilitation and Long Term Care at Gray Birch and the Maine Veterans Home is recruiting for an experienced nurse practitioner (NP) or physician assistant (PA) to join them in providing quality compassionate care to patients in the Kennebec Valley region.
In this role you will join our team of two physicians and four nurse practitioners while working in collaboration with other medical team members in the management of our skilled nursing care patients. The team includes registered nurses certified nursing assistants care managers physical occupational and speech therapists as well as the onsite medical staff.
Although direct clinical experience as NP or PA is strongly preferred we may consider a new graduate with extensive experience minimum of 2 years) within the nursing facility setting.
The weekly schedule consists of 32 patient seeing hours and 8 hours of dedicated administrative time. Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (or 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.. There is an on call requirement which is typically one night per week and every 5th or 6th weekend.
