Job Description
Job Summary
Install and maintain all plumbing related utilities; such as: water sewer storm drain fire main steam condensate gas lines air lines. Install and maintain related equipment such as: pumps valves boilers hot water tanks heaters food service equipment expansion joints and fixtures.
Required Qualifications
Experience with installation maintenance and repair of water and steam systems. Working skill in the use of diverse power and hand tools pertaining to the plumbing trade. Ability to respond to campus emergencies within 30 minutes. Valid Drivers license in required.
Preferred Qualifications
Considerable knowledge of steam systems and sprinkler systems. Work experience with commercial/industrial plumbing/steam distribution systems. Considerable experience working independently. A journeyman or master level plumbing license with VA DPOR . Experience reading and interpreting written instructions blueprints or schematic drawings.
