Your contribution to Prysmians Success:
We are looking for an experienced OPERATIONAL PURCHASING BUYER based in Milan within the Purchasing Department of the Transmission Business Unit reporting directly to the Operational Purchasing Manager.
- Develop update and execute the procurement plan within the assigned commodities related to HV installation perimeter; Material and services such as : subsea equipments site tools & accessories generators reels carousels transports external personnel rental equipment cable test vessel charter bunker certifications etc;
- Manage the procurement plan guaranteeing compliance with budget timing contractual requirements; Drafting bidder list analyzing offers negotiating prices and discussing contractual conditions with the support of internal clients departments (Technical Legal Finance Project etc);
- Identify saving and improvement opportunities in terms of costs process quality service etc. possibly introducing new ways of thinking and approaches looking also at synergies across the commodities or with creation of frame agreements;
- Promote Purchasing early involvement and support; Implement purchasing procedures and processes;
- Scout the market to expand suppliers basis for strategic commodities; Perform spent analysis and market evaluation;
You are the right fit if you have/are:
- Previous experience of 23 yearswithin Purchasing function;
- Solid professional experience developed into multinational companies;
- Determined enthusiast and committed to manage complexity and challenges;
- Excellent team building attitude;
- Good communication skills and strategic mindset;
- Proficiency in English;
- Familiar with SAP system.
