Job Overview:

The Sales and Business Development Manager will be pivotal in driving sales growth and expanding our market presence within the wedding and events industry. This position requires a resultsoriented individual with a deep understanding of the industry landscape coupled with proven experience in sales and business development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and expand market share within the wedding and events industry.

  • Client Acquisition: Identify and pursue new business opportunities through proactive prospecting networking and relationshipbuilding with potential clients.

  • Client Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing clients understanding their needs and preferences to deliver exceptional service and drive repeat business.

  • Market Research and Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends competitor activities and market developments to identify opportunities for growth and innovation.

  • Customized Solutions: Collaborate with the creative team to develop customized event solutions tailored to clients specific requirements and preferences ensuring seamless and delivery.

  • Proposal Development: Prepare compelling proposals and presentations for prospective clients showcasing the companys capabilities and value proposition.

  • Contract Negotiation: Negotiate terms and contracts with clients to secure profitable business deals while ensuring alignment with company policies and objectives.

  • Performance Tracking: Monitor sales performance against targets analyze key metrics and provide regular reports to management to evaluate progress and identify areas for improvement.

  • Crossfunctional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with marketing operations and other internal teams to align sales efforts with overall business objectives and ensure cohesive delivery of services.

  • Industry Representation: Represent the company at industry events trade shows and networking functions to promote brand awareness and foster relationships within the wedding and events community.



Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration Marketing Hospitality Management or a related field.

  • Proven track record of success in sales and business development within the wedding and events industry.

  • Strong understanding of industry trends client preferences and competitive landscape.

  • Excellent communication negotiation and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and influence decisionmakers.

  • Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve business objectives.

  • Resultsoriented mindset with a focus on driving revenue growth and exceeding targets.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fastpaced dynamic environment.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.

  • Can work in the office in North Strathfield from Mondays to Fridays

  • Flexibility to travel as required.
