As a Cook 1 Supervisor at The Beverly Hills Hotel your compensation will be $31.50 per hour.

A day in the life of our Cook1 Supervisors it demands high levels of energy in order to keep up. They need consistency even though the days are never alike; and creativity to tackle daily adventures. Listing all of the tasks that our Cook 1 accomplish would be lengthy but the list below is essential to know.
Our Cook1 Supervisors are responsible for preparing ingredients for cooking setup clean and break down work station. Wash and disinfect kitchen area including tables tools knives and equipment. Prepare ingredients for cooking including portioning chopping and storing.
Wash and peel fresh fruits and vegetables. Assist all culinary outlets as needed and able to work every station in the kitchen with success. Encourage development of cook 1/2/3/4 by showing guidance in prep and organization including item counts and other kitchen SOPs.
Daily communication with Sous Chef(s) Executive Sous Chef and/or Executive Chef. Discuss hotel status kitchen status (equipment repairs cleanliness and special needs projects) kitchen morale. Daily communications with stewards to ensure kitchen is running at the highest possible sanitary standards. Prepare and cook food to ensure our guests receives nothing but the best experience.
Sometimes our guests have special requests involving dietary and/or allergy restrictions. Our Cook1 Supervisor offer suggestions of ways to improve guests experiences through new food offerings and ideas to drive revenue and even create special dishes for occasions such as birthdays and weddings. Most of these requests are fulfilled by our Cook1 Supervisor.
Our hotels are truly luxury hotels. This requires preventing and correcting the imperfections and blemishes that tend to come up. Our Cook1 Supervisor are relied upon to report these and work with several other positions to correct.
Communication is what keeps our departments running perfectly. Our Cook1 Supervisor must communicate with other departments and extended hotel team in order to ensure the alignment remains.
The items shared are essential. However to ensure consistency our Cook1 Supervisors are provided with specifics on how we care for their department and our hotel.
To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge skill and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Must be able to bend stoop squat and stretch to fulfill cleaning tasks occasionally. Requires grasping writing standing sitting walking repetitive motions bending climbing listening and hearing ability and visual acuity. Must have physical stamina to lift carry push and pull moderate amounts of weight up to 50lbs.
