65 Project Development Implementation & Dissemination- Lead the Applied Research Team and work with CPPR Leadership Team to support organizational goals strategies for achieving goals skillset capacity tool/method assessments and effective management of personnel to achieve goals.
- Design frameworks and methods for program management and evaluation in response to current and future trends; identify replicable approaches justintime responses and maximize existing data/tools/techniques in new ways.
- Conduct and/or facilitate analyses of program and secondary data to further CPPRs research knowledge and contributions.
- Understand and apply innovative techniques methods and products that are datainformed easily understandable to the public and actionable for policy practice and common good.
- Translate research and evaluation findings into policy recommendations via white papers briefs or other materials; provide guidance to state agency partners on legislative issues relevant to project work telling the story of our impact.
- Provide expert level guidance and development on social science data science research methods data management tools and techniques statistical analyses data governance and ethics and equitybased inclusive methodologies to staff and students.
- Serve as Principal Investigator on projects to carry out the expected duties including hiring preparing budgets and scopes quality assurance and deliverables and compliance with university procedures and policies.
- Maintain accurate and complete documentation (e.g. regulatory documents signed consent forms IRB approvals source documents subject logs and studyrelated communication).
- Oversee research and evaluation projects manage activities across projects provide guidance and feedback to research staff on completion of project deliverables work with PIs and project leads to ensure that research and evaluation activities and deliverables meet the needs of the overall project.
- Represent senior leadership and the Center at meetings conferences trainings and other events.
25 CPPR Leadership Team- Serve as a member of the Center for Public Partnerships and Researchs Directors Team.
- Pursue local regional national and international strategic partnerships research areas and funding opportunities that are missionaligned.
- Support organizational strategic efforts to enhance organizational clarity and reinvigorate purpose; improve internal coherence to create new efficiencies and broader collaboration; and expand opportunities for impact.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with local state and national partners to promote.
- CPPR AAI and KU priorities and mission.
- Mentor developing staff and researchers.
- Model use of Center tools Rules of Engagement and leadership behaviors.
- Model and implement solutionfocused mindset to foster a healthy and innovative work culture.
- Incorporate elements of humancentered design to support Center growth and development.
- Create and inspire vision for project and Center work.
- Serve as a liaison for new proposals and project opportunities.
- Represent CPPR Leadership internally and externally.

- Lead strategic efforts to develop new projects scale good ideas and disseminate project findings approaches and methods through multiple venues (e.g. peerreviewed journals conferences training curriculums tool development).
- Identify funding opportunities that fit the mission of the Center and its partners.
- Prepare proposals for submission including letters of interest narratives budgets and other sections as needed.
10 Administration- Oversee hiring and HR activities for team/staff.
- Prepare and manage budgets and scopes of work.
- Support Executive Management (Director and Associate Directors) in all business functions.
- Supervise graduate research assistants project coordinators research assistants and/or other staff.
- Maintain knowledge and compliance with university procedures and policies.

The Center for Public Partnerships and Research (CPPR) seeks a fulltime Research Project Director to oversee develop and direct all aspects of multiple funded projects including visioning strategic planning and monitoring of progress budgets and expenses. The person in this position leads multiple research and development projects to benchmark the position of the University among peer institutions in specific areas. This position plans for and manages daytoday operations and personnel working to expand capacity and funding base. They formulate develop and execute meaningful measures for project and team performance work plans compliance and reporting. The person in this position will expand the impact of the Center and KU by developing and fostering networks in field of work and identifying and engaging in collaborative opportunities. They will contribute to writing submission and administration of grants. They may coauthor scientific papers for presentation and publication. May provide supervision.
