Position: SchoolBased Occupational Therapist w/ Cross Country Education
Location: Arlington Heights IL
Pay Rate: $45 hourly/Benefits/401k
Dates of Assignment: Asap May 30 2025

Overview:

Our approach focuses on workbased learning experiences studentcentered Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) family involvement and individualized support services to foster educational and employment success.
We provide a comprehensive educational program for Early Childhood through Grade 8 students with diverse special needs including:
- Cognitive disabilities
- Multiple disabilities
- Autism spectrum disorders
- Behavioral disorders
- Physical/health impairments
- Communication disorders
Our teambased instructional model creates a structured nurturing and responsive environment tailored to address the needs of the whole child.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team including speech and language pathologists psychologists social workers and physical therapists.
- Utilize a tiered approach to service delivery to meet individual student needs.
- Adapt and modify instruction to align with Common Core State Standards and address students transition vocational and life skills.
- Contribute to a teambased model to foster students academic social and functional development.
- Support students in their transition from school to community living and work opportunities.
Requirements:
- Experience or interest in working with students with diverse special needs.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills.
