About the Position

Dexis Professional Services is recruiting a Data Analyst to support the provision of business and economic analysis services for the Federal Emergency Management Agencys (FEMA) National Business Emergency Operations Center (NBEOC). The NBEOC is responsible for improving and directing informationsharing between government partners and business leaders stakeholders and organizations before during and after disasters. The Center works to connect state local tribal and territorial governments with their relevant FEMA regional office as well as NBEOCs national business and industry network.

The Data Analyst will be responsible for coordinating the transformation of raw data into usable insights and conclusions through the interpretation of patterns trends and relationships. These efforts will support the development and maintenance of NBEOCs Data Dashboard a webbased portal providing business industry and global supply chain data during the entire disaster lifecycle for use by industry and business partners. This position is contingent upon contract award.

Responsibilities

  • Collect process and analyze firmographic supply chain movement and transactional data in support of the NBEOC dashboard.
  • Obtain and sustain national business and industry economic data and global supply chain insights in realtime.
  • Develop and maintain a database that houses past datasets and reports.
  • Contribute to the development of an interactive data dashboard for the display of collected data and insights.
  • Use software such as Power BI to develop graphics and visual presentations.
  • Support the mapping and locationbased analysis of disasteraffected areas using geographic information system software.
  • Ensure that data retrieval ingestion sanitization aggregation management security and formatting follow industry best practices.
  • Perform other duties as needed.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 4 years of professional experience with 3 years of experience in the emergency disaster management field.
  • Bachelors Degree in a related field advanced degree preferred.
  • Experience using ArcGIS Power BI and Microsoft Office.
  • Experience with locationbased analytics including developing GIS tools for data visualization and analysis.
  • Knowledge of FEMA activities goals and procedures.
  • Possession of an active Public Trust clearance preferred.

Below is the pay range aligned with this position. When developing a range Dexis evaluates compensation holistically triangulating between external market research our budget for the position and internal equity to arrive at a figure that is fair and competitive. Offers within this range will be based on an individual candidates qualification relevant education and experience skills performance and organizational needs.

Dexis pay range for this role:
$73000$90000 USD
