The Boeing Company has an exciting opportunity for an Experienced Estimating and Pricing Specialist (Labor) to join them in Hazelwood MO.

This position offers the opportunity to enhance a candidates knowledge of the acquire process as well as the overall of the business. Boeing Aerospace Operations (BAO) in Hazelwood has a broad portfolio of programs and customers both domestic and international. As a member of the BAO Estimating team the successful candidate may have the opportunity to support to over 35 platforms gaining broader experience and visibility.

Position Responsibilities:

• Develops estimates and prices from technical requirements through the design build and aftermarket support stages of the program

• Develops prepares and validates estimates and prices

• Evaluates requests for proposal substantiates estimates/pricing and assembles price proposals

• Develops estimating and pricing methods

• Evaluates and develops business cases

• Performs analyses and provides recommendations in support of pricing/estimating (risk financial competitive etc.

• Develops and maintains pricing models

• Incorporates data into and maintains structured systems and coordinates program database requirements

• Develops/applies/maintains rates and factors for estimating pricing and proposals

• Performs compliance activities including policy and procedure development system/tool deployment and training delivery

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• Bachelors degree in at least one of the following fields: Business Engineering Computer Science or Mathematics

• 3 years of experience working with Microsoft Office Suite

• 1 years of experience in cost estimation

• Experience working on government proposals to include Truth in Negotiations Act (TINA) compliant proposals

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Capability to proactively apply problem solving skills

• Capability to work well independently and as part of a team

• Capability to learn new systems & tools estimating techniques and gain program knowledge in a dynamic environment

• Capability to coordinate and communicate effectively with external customer and across multiple functions including Finance Supplier Management and technical disciplines

• Demonstrate analytical or estimating capabilities

• Experience with time management skills to meet tight schedules with first time quality
