Job Description
The Department of Health Promotion and Policy within the School of Public Health and Health Sciences at UMass Amherst seeks candidates for a 2year fulltime postdoctoral research associate position. The successful candidate will work directly with Dr. Michal Horn Assistant Professor of Health Policy and Management and Dr. Laura Attanasio Associate Professor of Health Policy and Management. This position will provide the successful candidate with the opportunity to examine health care prices access to care and utilization of care using health insurance claims survey and linked vital statisticshospital discharge data within ongoing research projects. The postdoctoral associate will be responsible for cleaning and analyzing data and interpreting and presenting study results. Likely topics include health care affordability health care prices and perinatal health care quality depending on the candidates interest and experience.

The successful candidate will be supervised by Drs. Horn and Attanasio and have opportunities for mentorship with them and for teaching within the School depending on the interest of the position holder.
