Summary of responsibilities
- Keep secure records of inbound/outbound shipments
- Use system to ensure inventory is properly maintained sales orders purchases orders etc.
- Pack materials for customer orders
- Unpack materials for inventory replenishment
- Maintain quality control of goods by verifying incoming and outgoing shipments
- Schedule inbound/outbound shipments
- Maintain safe use of company vehicles; forklifts 44 loader etc.
- Prepare and/or sign off on shipping documents (i.e.: bills of lading invoices etc.
- Report any damaged stock or equipment to supervisor
- Ensure all safety measures are followed
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Others tasks as required by management
Skills
- High school diploma
- Minimum 2 years experience in a similar position
- Knowledge of ERP systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Attention to details
- Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time
- Ability to lift loads up to 70 lbs on a regular basis
