The Saskatoon district is accepting applications for an Accounting Student to work for 4 8 12 or 16months starting in September 2022. This position will be under the direct supervision of the Accounting Manager.
As a student at PCL you will get the opportunity for challenging work assignments in a supportive environment which promotes personal and professional growth. PCL students will have the chance to work on some of the most exciting projects currently underway in Saskatoon. As an Accounting Student you will have the opportunity to contribute to our team by:
Responsibilities
- Entering invoices into the PCL accounting system
- Completing bank reconciliations
- Involvement in intercompany invoicing
- Conducting courier and phone costing
- Running and updating reports
- Reconciling supplier statements
- Completing Visa card reconciliations
- Preparing accounts receivable report
- Handling weekly cheque printing
- Evaluating client progress billings
- Involvement in subcontract administration
Qualifications
What you will bring to the role:
- Application of various computer software programs will be required including word processing and spreadsheet applications
