Job Description
We are the leading player in the Energy sector in Greece committed to providing topnotch energy solutions to our customers. We are looking to expand our IT team to support our digital transformation initiatives and we are seeking to recruit Athens based:
IT Cloud Engineer
The role will:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify system requirements and design optimal cloud solutions.
- Ensure high availability and resource efficiency through expertlevel administration and optimization of hosts and servers.
- Develop and support procedures for routine IT tasks enabling efficient by support staff.
- Install configure and maintain software and hardware components ensuring proper documentation of system design and maintenance processes.
- Perform indepth rootcause analysis to address service interruptions and implement preventive measures.
- Prepare detailed reports and documentation outlining key findings solutions and system performance insights.
- Manage and oversee backup strategies to ensure secure data storage daily operations and restore testing.
Requirements
- BSc in Computer Science or a related field; a Masters degree is a plus.
- At least 5 years of experience in the field of cloud computing and classic VM administration
- Excellent knowledge development in windows scripting
- Experience in network administration preferably with Fortinet solutions.
- Handson experience in SysOps ensuring system stability and performance.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively across teams and communicate complex technical concepts clearly.
