Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- OnSite Troubleshooting & Maintenance: Diagnose and resolve PLC control system issues to minimize downtime in manufacturing and industrial operations.
- PLC & HMI Support: Modify and optimize Modicon PLC programs (Schneider Electric) as needed to improve system performance.
- Field Service & System Upgrades: Perform realtime system updates component replacements and firmware updates on PLCs and control panels.
- Equipment Commissioning: Assist with the startup testing and validation of newly installed automation systems.
- Preventive Maintenance: Conduct routine system checks backup PLC programs and ensure control system reliability.
- Collaboration & Documentation: Work closely with maintenance engineering and production teams while maintaining service records and technical documentation.
Qualifications & Experience
3 years of handson experience in PLC troubleshooting field service or industrial automation maintenance.
Expertise in Modicon PLCs (Schneider Electric) and field diagnostics.
Strong electrical troubleshooting skills including control panels sensors VFDs and instrumentation.
Ability to work in highpaced manufacturing or heavy industrial environments.
Strong problemsolving skills and a proactive handson approach to troubleshooting.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work in the field with minimal supervision and respond to urgent service requests.
