Your Mission at BMG
Your primary mission is the successful management of the song delivery process and client relations both internally and externally.
Your Profile
- You have an interest in music publishing
- You have familiarity with systems and are a quick learner
- You are comfortable working in a team and are a selfstarter.
- Your time management skills allow you to meet deadlines easily.
- You have exceptional attention to detail and the ability to track and follow through on multiple concurrent projects to completion.
What Youll Be Doing
- Liaising between BMG departments and external clients
- Delivering new songs and sampled works in the Song Delivery Tool
- Researching songwriter information using iMaestro and PRO websites
- Maintaining and updating MDRC sheets
- Attending weekly departmental and system development meetings
- Sending out weekly song delivery updates
- Assisting with resolving song disputes
- Working closely with the Copyright and Mechanical Licensing teams
MustHaves
- Bachelors Degree
- Basic understanding of music publishing specifically copyright mechanical licensing and royalties.
- Proficiency with Microsoft.
