Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities:

Participates in team meetings to brainstorm new ideas for engagement activities and events.
Assist with managing event materials and merchandise.
Attends alumni engagement events as needed.
Prepares preevent and postevent (i.e. event briefings database management etc. to ensure successful and followup.
Works on data management projects including within our alumni database.
Makes phone calls to alumni and donors to keep them engaged with Seton Hall University. This includes both solicitation and stewardship outreach 35 hours per week).

Required Qualifications:

Enrolled in Seton Hall graduate studies for Fall 2025.
Quick learner with attention to detail.
Strong ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Skilled at research and database management.
Evening and weekend availability as needed.
Able to commit to full 10 month role mid August 2025 mid June 2026.

Desired Qualifications:

Familiarity and comfortability with event preparation attendance and networking.
Experience using Canva or any photo/graphic editing system (eg. Photoshop).
The ideal candidate is comfortable with new systems is well organized and thorough in their task management.
