As the Senior Manager Solutions Engineering you will help coach and mentor our worldclass team of Solution Engineers to support our Sales Team to meet and exceed our revenue targets. You will support your team to execute winning strategies to position Amplitudes value in the hearts and minds of our prospects.

This is a hands on role. Ideal candidates must be ready to perform demonstrations to executives drive urgency to secure the technical win and build relationships with technical stakeholders. They must lead from the front. To be successful in this role you must be directly involved in opportunity strategy and .

As a Senior Manager Solutions Engineering you will:

  • Prioritize creating great relationships both internally and with our customers
  • Lead from the front. Own the success of the opportunities in your region. You will be expected to remove barriers to achieving the technical win and own the performance of the team.
  • Help us meet or exceed our revenue targets.
  • Coach and develop a team of high performance Solutions Engineers.
  • Be an excellent recruiter.
  • Articulate a deep understanding of Amplitude technology to prospect and customer audiences from the Csuite to Dept Heads to Engineering removing obstacles and delivering differentiated technical and business value propositions and proof points to customers
  • Travel to customer onsites to support demos and presentations to build strong customer relationships

Youll be a great addition to the team if you have:

  • A track record of displaying Amplitudes core values: ownership humility and growth mindset
  • Passion for encouraging individual development and learning through clear feedback equitable & inclusive processes and handson management techniques
  • Excellent communication listening and presentation skills
  • An appetite for selfimprovement encouraging team growth and seeking new information
  • Prior experience with analytics business intelligence experimentation DMPs and/or CDPs

At a minimum you need to have:

  • 4 years managing and leading a PreSales solutions or Solutions Engineering team with average deal sizes of $250k or more
  • 4 years of individual contributor Solutions Engineering experience in a customerfacing role
  • Ability to travel up to 30 if needed

Based on Colorado law the following details are for individuals who will work for Amplitude in Colorado. Colorado range: $195000 $293000 total target cash (inclusive of bonus or commission)

Based on legislation in California the following details are for individuals who will work for Amplitude in San Francisco Bay Area of California. Salary range: $217000 $326000 total target cash (inclusive of bonus or commission)

Based on legislation in California the following details are for individuals who will work for Amplitude in California outside of the San Francisco Bay Area. California salary range: $195000 $293000 total target cash (inclusive of bonus or commission)

Based on legislation in Washington state the following details are for individuals who will work for Amplitude in Washington state. Washington salary range: $195000 $293000 total target cash (inclusive of bonus or commission)

Based on legislation in Washington state the following details are for individuals who will work for Amplitude in Washington only: unlimited PTO 10 to 13 holidays annually (will vary) medical dental and vision PPO and CDHP plans. Finally a company sponsored 401(k) retirement plan.
