Employment Training Program SpecialistFood Service Aide Part-Time

*Please note: This position is a combination of 2 different positions. You would be working 24 hours/week in our Employment Training Program while also providing oncall coverage in our Food Service Department. Please see full job descriptions below.

Compensation: Up to $19/hr. based off prior experience.

Employment Training Program (ETP) Specialist Position PartTime

Working in our Employment Training Program you will be serving youth who live in one of Wedgwoods 10 residential homes as well as youth in the community. Youll mentor youth ages 1518 while helping them develop various handson and vocational skills in preparation for joining the workforce. Some of these skills include but are not limited to: resume building/interview skills customer service lawn care/landscaping wood working car detailing small engine repair janitorial skills sewing etc

Hours: 24 hours per week. Shift times vary between 9am8pm MondayFriday and every other Saturday.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma is required
• Prior experience working with adolescents and or prior supervisory or teaching experience is preferred
• Lawn care experience preferred
• Woodshop/carpentry experience is preferred
• The ability to lift at least 50 lbs. of stationary weight is required
• The ability to bend twist stoop and bear weight of materials is required
• For transportation purposes must have a valid drivers license
• Subscription to the Statement of Faith of Wedgwood Christian Services and agreement with the goals purposes and objectives of the agency.

Food Service Aide Position OnCall Coverage

Under the supervision and directives from the Food Service Supervisor the Food Service Aide may put away stock from deliveries assist with food preparations and performs other kitchen related tasks as assigned.

Hours: Monday Thursday 7am4pm hours based on department needs.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of a high school diploma required
• Must have a valid drivers license
• ServSafe Certification preferred.
• Prior experience in food preparation is preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Subscription to the Statement of Faith of Wedgwood Christian Services and agreement with the goal purpose and objectives of the agency.
