DESCRIPTION OF WORK
In this position you will provide psychological insights about patients to both professional and nonprofessional staff helping to ensure that appropriate treatment and discharge plans are developed. You will contribute psychological profiles to the treatment team by conducting evaluations as needed allowing for objective decisions and goalsetting for patients. Responsibilities include maintaining uptodate psychological assessments for assigned patients completing routine screenings within ten working days of admission and ensuring that relevant psychological data is available prior to the creation of each patients treatment plan. Additionally you will apply psychological principles to direct care and rehabilitation through scheduled individual or group sessions intervention during crises and unscheduled counseling supporting patient development. Work assignments will be based on patient needs treatment team recommendations and the direction of the psychology director.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Fulltime employment37.5 hours per week
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM Saturday Thursday with a 30minute lunch.
- This position requires working every other Saturday with Fridays and every other Monday as days off.
- Telework:You will not have the option to telework in this position.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- A masters degree in a behavioral science counseling education rehabilitation human development or a closely related field.
Other Requirements:

- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
Legal Requirements:
- A conditional offer of employment will require a medical examination and drug screening.
- This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act.
- Under the Act a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports including but not limited to PA State Police and FBI clearance.
