The Role
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced leader to take on the role of Director of Boarding (Senior). GSG is dedicated to providing a nurturing and supportive environment for our students with a focus on positive academic and wellbeing outcomes. This role has the responsibility for strategic and daytoday leadership of the senior boarding program for boys and girls across two Houses. Reporting to the Deputy Principal Head of Secondary this position resides onsite and directly manages a House.
You will work in collaboration with the Director of Boarding (Junior) in a magnificent regional location. Together you will collaborate and drive a successful regional boarding program that offers young people the opportunity to develop life skills social and emotional skills alongside academics in a unique and rich coeducational boarding experience.
Teachers or nonteachers are encouraged to apply and renumeration includes onsite accommodation suitable for an individual couple or family. A variety of flexible workload options are available for this position including teaching component (up to 0.6FTE). The Person
We are looking for someone who has:
- experience dealing with young people which may or may not include residential experience;
- the ability to provide an enriching home and learning environment for boarding students;
- highly capable interpersonal and communication skills;
- the ability to build and maintain strong and collaborative relationships with students parents and colleagues;
- flexibility with regard to working hours and resilience in working through complex situations;
- capable leadership and has the ability to work operationally and strategically; and
- high professionalism and the capacity to thrive working as a team.

- Fixed term five year contract commencing 28 April 2025 or by negotiation.
