As a Business Digital & Data Solution Architect Principal at Roche PT you will play a pivotal role in standardizing and optimizing the digital & data infrastructure that powers our pharmaceutical operations and data insights. In this role you will own the design implementation and maintenance of sophisticated digital & data architectures within our organization translating business needs into scalable secure and efficient digital solutions. This role will leverage sophisticated digital & data technologies and identify new industry trends within PT in close collaboration with our informatics organization.
Guided by Roche Enterprise Architecture framework select appropriate data management technologies tools and cloud platforms based on business requirements performance and solution sustainability needs. Collaborate with IT and the available architecture teams aligning principles and strategies with PT requirements
Develop and promote the adoption of the overarching data modeling methodology. Drive the modeling of entities and relationships ensuring accurate representation and integration within the data ecosystem of the domain
Design develop and maintain data streaming architecture and processes to enable realtime data processing and analytics
Improve existing systems identify gaps and work with the team and stakeholders to scope and prioritize solutions. Ensure continuous data infrastructure performance monitoring to identify bottlenecks and implement optimization strategies
Work with use case teams to map business requirements to technological solutions (leveraging existing Roche solutions and recommending new solutions when necessary)
Collaborate with engineers and other development teams to craft and build cutting edge data ingestion enrichment and accessibility capabilities
Build and maintain the Solution Architecture Documents required for the Qualification of Data Products
Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Engineering Statistics or a related field. 5 in a leading role as data solution architect
Experience working with a large scale enterprise data warehouse / lake comprising data pipelines and ETL processes leveraging Snowflake and enterprise cloud solutions
Experience developing conceptual logical and physical data solution architecture. Proven experience in optimization and finetuning of data pipelines for performance and scalability
Working experience in Python development SQL DevOps Tools CI/CD Data Ingestion & Systems Integration
Broad knowledge in Manufacturing (Clinical or Commercial experience) or experience with Supply Chain or Regulatory
