Dev Technology Group is looking for an experienced Business Analyst to support both Operations & Maintenance (O&M) and new development efforts for a federal government client. The ideal candidate will have relevant experience in the application of methodologies related to software lifecycle management and agile. This is a great opportunity to work on missioncritical systems that provide clear value to end users and our federal government clients.
What Youll Be Doing:
The Business Analyst shall ensure that the acceptance criteria is understood by the development team and serve as a liaison to the programs Business Requirements team.
Business Analyst responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Overseeing updates to the TPA and collaborating with the O&M development team and PMO Contractors on updates to the TPA.
- Completes meeting minutes for technical meetings and stores minutes and other agile documentation on appropriate documentation tools.
- Assists the Contract PM and Government ITPMs with documenting assigning and closing action items.
- Documents business processes flows and technical workflows.
- Ensures technical documents and processes are successfully completed updated and stored (i.e. Logical design diagrams ICAs etc.
Required Education Experience and Skills:
- Bachelors degree with eight 8 or more years of relevant business analyst
- experience in an Enterprise software development environment including experience in the application of methodologies related to software lifecycle management and agile.
- Ability to work in a demanding and deadlinedriven environment
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Agile development experience
- Excellent active listening skills
- Ability to discuss technical issues with nontechnical executivelevel government officials
