Here at Marsh we have a fantastic opportunity for someone to join us as an Executive Assistant. The role is based in our successful UK Specialties practice and will be supporting the CEO for UK Specialty 80 of time) and the COO and CBO for this area 20 of time).
As an organised proactive and responsive individual you will ensure their daytoday work runs smoothly keeping them organised and providing daytoday administrative support in the form of inbox management travel arrangements calendar management expense tracking document preparation and correspondence.
We are looking for an experienced Executive Assistant who will be able to showcase their skills and add value straight away. This role will be offered on a full time and permanent basis and will be office based with the option to work remotely 2 days per week.

We will rely on you to:
- Provide an effective and responsive administrative service to the CEO for UK Specialties and the COO and CBO for UK Specialties
- Maintain and manage a busy diary organising internal and external appointments considering current priorities global time zones and the need for focus time
- Own the annual meeting schedule and take minutes at regulated executive and operational meetings
- Be able to prioritise particularly when it comes to putting together executives calendar and determining the importance of various tasks meetings and assignments.
- Monitor inbox responding to emails where appropriate flagging them for later discussion
- Coordinate and arrange business trips including meeting itineraries flights and accommodation
- Liaise with internal and external colleagues and clients across the UK and internationally
- Reconcile expense claims and credit card statements
- Act as a gate keeper to ensure nonessential tasks are given low priority
- Planning client meetings and events and/or coordinating with event planners
- Undertaking adhoc projects on behalf of the CEO
What you need to have:
- Experience working in a similar Executive/ Personal Assistant role which demonstrates your ability to multitask organise and prioritise effectively
- Ability to plan and organise self and others
- Ability to work to tight deadlines
- Strong written and verbal English language skills are essential
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to prioritise pace over perfection when needed
- Approachable and sociable personality
- Sound knowledge of I.T. especially MS Outlook Teams and Zoom
- Ability to develop and maintain relationships
- Maintain high levels of confidentiality
