Job Summary
Mass General Brigham is seeking a highly skilled Senior Full Stack Java Developer to join our Identity and Access Management (IAM) team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the ongoing development maintenance and enhancement of custom Enterprise Java IAM applications. This role requires expertise in both frontend and backend development integration with various identity management systems and management of application servers.Qualifications
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Design develop and maintain custom Javabased IAM applications.
Develop and enhance both frontend and backend components using modern frameworks and technologies.
Manage integrations with identity management systems including LDAP SOAP REST and other authentication protocols.
Work with Oracle databases including writing complex queries stored procedures and performance tuning.
Support and manage Tomcat application servers to ensure high availability and performance.
Implement and maintain secure coding practices to protect sensitive identity data.
Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including security and application development teams to ensure seamless integration of IAM solutions.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to IAM applications integrations and authentication processes.
Ensure compliance with Mass General Brighams security policies and industry best practices.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers and team members.
Participate in code reviews and advocate for best practices in software development.
Stay current with emerging IAM technologies and best practices to continuously improve system security and efficiency.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in full stack Java development.
Extensive experience with Javabased frameworks such as Spring Boot and Hibernate.
Strong expertise in frontend technologies such as JavaScript Angular React or Vue.js.
Proficiency in working with Oracle databases including SQL PL/SQL and performance tuning.
Handson experience integrating IAM solutions with Active Directory Azure AD and other directory services.
Strong understanding of authentication and authorization mechanisms including SAML OAuth OpenID Connect and Kerberos.
Experience managing and deploying applications on Apache Tomcat.
Familiarity with DevOps tools CI/CD pipelines and source control systems such as Git.
Experience with containerization technologies (Docker Kubernetes) is a plus.
Knowledge of cloudbased IAM solutions and services is a plus.
