Job Description

Community Occupational Therapist

Location: Sydney (NSW)
Industry: Support Services
Position: FullTime (Flexible arrangements available)
Salary: Available upon enquiry

About the Role:

We are looking for a dedicated Community Occupational Therapist to join our clients team in Sydney. In this role youll work with NDIS participants to provide personcentered evidencebased interventions that enhance daily living skills community engagement and overall wellbeing. Youll have the opportunity to collaborate with an interdisciplinary team access professional growth opportunities and enjoy flexible working arrangements tailored to your needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans to meet client needs
  • Provide therapeutic interventions to support daily living community involvement and work skills
  • Utilize teletherapy and telehealth as required to reach clients effectively
  • Work independently within community settings while managing your own caseload
  • Collaborate with a diverse team of allied health professionals to support client goals

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelors or Masters Degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Eligibility for General AHPRA registration
  • Full open Australian Drivers License
  • Eligibility to work longterm in Australia

Experience:

  • Proven experience in community settings working independently to develop and implement treatment plans
  • Familiarity with neurodevelopmental disorders degenerative conditions and complex needs support
  • Strong ability to adapt therapeutic approaches for diverse client needs
