This position is responsible for performing research projects making technical presentations and publishing research papers preparing research proposals and conducting research on theoretical computational and experimental applications of EM techniques.
Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
A minimum of three years of directly related experience is required at the R2 level.
Understanding of applied electromagnetics with skills in EM modeling and experimentation and interest in continuous learning
Experience with modeling tools such as SENTRi CST HFSS Feko Xpatch etc.
Solid attention to detail and deadlines
Solid team player
Due to requirements of our research contracts with the U.S. federal government candidates for this position must be a U.S. Citizen
Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
While not everyone may possess all of the preferred qualifications the ideal candidate will bring many of the following:
Masters degree in electrical engineering or related field.
Proven research experience with Computational Electromagnetic (CEM) modeling environments.
Adept in CEM prediction software and proven history of applying simulation tools to characterize EM phenomenology
A basic understanding of or exposure to the following is a plus but not required:
o Radar signal processing fundamentals
o RF Tomography
o Electronic Warfare
o Software Defined Radios
Active SECRET or higher clearance is desired but not required
