Psychologist Clinical Psychology Oncology
Ochsner Health is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Clinical Psychologist. Position Highlights:
OCHSNER HEALTH IS SEEKING A CLINICAL PSYCHOLOGIST TO JOIN ITS DEPARTMENT OF PSYCHIATRY AND WORK EXCLUSIVELY WITH ONCOLOGY IN THE SLIDELL CANCER CENTER. The successful candidate must have a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology (or equivalent) from an APAapproved program and be licensed or eligible for licensure in Louisiana. Candidate must have also completed internship training at an APAApproved site.
The position involves working closely with our multidisciplinary teams including Lung Cancer Head & Neck Cancer and Neurooncology to provide requisite and clinically important psychosocial care. It also involves collaboration with our Pediatric HematologyOncology colleagues and working with members of our Palliative Oncology Team.
