Job Title: Data Scientist III (Secret Clearance Required)
Clearance Required: Secret
Education: Masters Degree in Analytics Statistics Computer Science Information Systems Engineering Mathematics or related disciplines
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Data Scientist III to join our team and contribute to datadriven decisionmaking in support of missioncritical operations. The ideal candidate will possess advanced expertise in data strategies frameworks governance and business intelligence tools with a proven track record of leveraging data to solve complex problems and provide actionable insights.
In this role you will design and implement datadriven solutions manage data governance strategies and collaborate with crossfunctional teams to enhance business intelligence capabilities. You will work with large datasets develop predictive models and utilize advanced analytics techniques to support organizational objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement data strategies and frameworks to support business intelligence and decisionmaking.
- Lead the design development and deployment of advanced analytical models and algorithms to extract insights from large datasets.
- Work with crossfunctional teams to identify key data needs and translate business requirements into actionable data solutions.
- Ensure data governance standards are applied across the organization to maintain data quality integrity and security.
- Utilize a variety of business intelligence tools to analyze complex datasets and present insights in clear actionable formats.
- Conduct exploratory data analysis to uncover trends patterns and relationships that inform business strategies.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define data requirements and ensure proper integration of data sources for analysis.
- Develop and automate data pipelines for efficient data processing and reporting.
- Stay uptodate with emerging data science trends techniques and tools to continuously improve analytical capabilities.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior data scientists and team members.
Required Qualifications:
- Education: Masters Degree in Analytics Statistics Computer Science Information Systems Engineering Mathematics or a related discipline.
- Experience: At least seven 7 years of experience with data strategies frameworks governance and business intelligence tools.
- Clearance: Active Secret clearance required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Expertise in data science tools and programming languages (e.g. Python R SQL etc..
- Strong experience with data visualization and business intelligence tools (e.g. Tableau Power BI etc..
- Proven ability to develop and implement data governance policies and practices.
- Experience working with largescale datasets and cloudbased data platforms.
- Strong problemsolving skills and the ability to turn complex data into clear insights and actionable recommendations.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex data concepts to both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
