Job Description
About the Role:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Program Manager to oversee and manage all resources deployed in our programs. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing biweekly status reports to leadership identifying and managing program risks and maintaining close communication with stakeholders and team members. This role requires a deep understanding of software architecture and the ability to address issues faced by developers. Additionally the Program Manager will manage the Statement of Work (SOW) and project resource lists as well as maintain project financials and upsell technology services.
Key Responsibilities:
Resource Management: Oversee and manage all resources deployed in the program to ensure optimal utilization and efficiency
Scrum: Experience with Agile methodologies and Scrum Master certification is desirable
Release Management: Oversee release management ensuring timely and efficient delivery of program updates and new features
Status Reporting: Provide biweekly status reports to leadership outlining progress challenges and next steps.
Risk Management: Identify and manage program risks implementing mitigation strategies as necessary.
Stakeholder Engagement: Conduct oneonone meetings with all stakeholders to ensure alignment and address concerns.
Team Collaboration: Hold oneonone sessions with team members to provide support gather feedback and foster a collaborative environment.
SOW Management: Manage the projects Statement of Work ensuring all deliverables are met and documented.
Technical Understanding: A strong understanding of the software architecture principles to effectively communicate with and support developers.
ProblemSolving: Address and resolve issues faced by developers providing guidance and solutions as needed.
Financial Management: Create and maintain project financials ensuring the project stays within budget and financial goals are met.
Upselling: Identify opportunities to upsell additional technology services to clients enhancing project value and revenue
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering Business Administration or related field.
5 years of experience in program or project management preferably in the technology sector.
Proven ability to manage complex projects and resources effectively.
Strong understanding of software development and architecture.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong problemsolving abilities and attention to detail.
Experience with financial management and budgeting.
Ability to identify and capitalize on upselling opportunities.
Preferred Skills:
Strong leadership and teambuilding skills.
Experience in using Jira & Confluence is desirable
