Apprenticely is helping AccuCode AI hire a Billing Quality Assurance Specialistin Little Rock AR.
The ideal candidate will have strong clinical coding expertise and a track record of accurate diagnostic and procedural coding in a clinical setting.This Apprenticeship will offer an opportunity to learn and obtain new certifications.
About the Employer:
AtAccuCode AI were passionate about transforming the healthcare industry. Our innovative solutions leverage artificial intelligence to revolutionize revenue cycle management (RCM). This role requires experience with Medical coding ICD10CM CPT and HCPCS codes
AICE our specialtyagnostic AI Coding Engine analyzes patient records doctors notes and procedures using advanced algorithms and natural language understanding. It assigns accurate medical codes strictly adhering to all AMA and AAPC standards without human intervention achieving a remarkable 99 firstpass rate.
AICEhas passed AAPCcertification as well as the USMLE licensing exam.
Essential Responsibilities
- Review patient medical records and assign appropriate ICD10CM CPT and HCPCS codes
- Conduct audits of billing processes and documentation
- Identify areas for improvement in billing accuracy
- Develop and implement quality control measures
- Provide feedback and training to billing staff
- Ensure complete and accurate coding for all patient encounters procedures and diagnoses
- Maintain compliance with coding guidelines federal regulations and insurance requirements
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to clarify documentation when needed
- Participate in regular audits to maintain quality and accuracy standards
- Stay current with coding updates regulatory changes and best practices
- Support billing operations by providing accurate coding for timely claim submission
Required Qualifications
- Current CPC CCS or equivalent medical coding certification
- Minimum 3 years of handson clinical coding experience
- Thorough knowledge of ICD10CM CPT and HCPCS coding systems
- Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Strong understanding of medical terminology and anatomy
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and compliance requirements
Preferred Qualifications
- Additional specialty coding certifications (e.g. COC CIC)
- Experience in multiple medical specialties
- Background in coding audit and compliance
- Knowledge of revenue cycle management
- Experience with coding software and computerassisted coding (CAC)
