Lead Wastewater Plant Operator Kenner LA
Location: NOLA Plant Kenner LA
Pay: $30.00 $32.00 per hour (based on experience)
Schedule: Fulltime 1st or 2nd Shift Overtime available Flexibility required
Expected Hours: 40 55 per week

About the Role
Were looking for a Lead Wastewater Plant Operator to join our Kenner LA team. This is a longterm role with growth potential perfect for someone who enjoys problemsolving operating machinery and leading a team in a fastpaced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain plant equipment including DAFs filter presses forklifts and skid steers.
- Monitor tank levels to ensure proper wastewater processing and efficiency.
- Perform routine cleaning and preventative maintenance on plant machinery.
- Follow all safety and compliance protocols including proper use of protective equipment.
- Lead and support the plant team assisting the Plant Manager with daily operations.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
What Were Looking For
- Three 3 years of plant operation experience (preferred) OR 3 years of mechanical experience with transferable skills.
- Strong mechanical aptitude including equipment repairs tool usage and machinery operation.
- Ability to work in varied environments including exposure to strong odors hot/cold temperatures and occasional splashes.
- Strong communication and organizational skills with a teamoriented mindset.
- Reliable transportation and willingness to crosstrain in other roles.

- 8 10 or 12hour shifts
- Day shift Evening shift Overnight shift
- Monday to Friday Rotating shifts Weekends as needed
