Our Orange County and San Diego offices provide structural engineering services with an emphasis on repair and rehabilitation investigation and new design of constructed works. The office is currently looking to hire a Senior Project Manager with a minimum of 8 years of industry experience.

What Youll Be Doing:

The office provides structural engineering services with emphasis on new design repair and rehabilitation investigation and new design of constructed works. of a variety of structures and materials. Essential duties include performing a wide range of structural engineering analysis investigation and design tasks in steel concrete masonry and wood structures drawing and calculation package preparation and report writing. The work involves a significant volume of seismic evaluations. In a supervisory capacity plans develops coordinates and directs a large and important engineering project or a number of small projects with many complex features. Project management responsibilities include proposal writing budget development project financial tracking project planning client management and business development. A strong technical education professional demeanor and desire to learn is essential to this position.

What Youll Need:

• 8 years of experience in structural analysis and design of concrete steel masonry and woodframe structures
• MS in Civil or Structural Engineering required

• Communication skills: excellent written oral and verbal communication skills. Ability to convey information and interact with internal and external clients clearly.

• Problemsolving ability: capability to solve minor or complex problems using data logic and judgement. Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical skills.
• Teamoriented mindset ability to work successfully with others toward a shared goal with active participation.
• Project management skills: capable of managing projects of various sizes including technical and nontechnical aspects from inception to completion
• Accountability and responsibility ability to meet deadlines. Willingness to take independent initiative to ensure tasks are completed.
• Enthusiasm passion and desire for continued learning of new ideas and concepts.
• Familiarity with computer analysis software (e.g. ETABS SAP RISA RAM SAFE etc.
• Valid drivers license and an acceptable Motor Vehicle Report.

Compensation

Anticipated annual base salary: $135200 $178880. This range is a goodfaith estimate provided pursuant to the California Pay Transparency Law.

The actual salary offered may vary from the range as permitted by the California Equal Pay Transparency Law and will be based on several factors including the candidates experience and qualifications education skills competencies and proficiency for the role. Base salary is a part of SGHs industryleading Total Compensation package. Our Total Compensation package includes base salary pay for extra hours worked an annual bonus program generous paid time off and health and wellness benefits with a special emphasis on substantial SGH contributions to medical insurance premiums and SGHs Profit Sharing & 401(k) Plan.
