The Project Commissioning Manager role is responsible for maangeing the design and commissioning efforts for solar farm construction activites ensuring project plans and schedules are followed and project scopes are executed effectively safelym and within budget.

Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage all cold and hot commissioning activities.
- Coordination of multiple parties to ensure efficient and safe of commissioning activities.
- Supervise troubleshooting activities during PV testing and performance testing during commissioning.
- Ensure the field team submits timely and accurate test results.
- Ability to analyze test results and provide recommendations for any results with unacceptable variances to predicted values.
- Responsible for the development of manuals and commissioning plans documentation.
- Responsible for the accurate and timely commissioning of MET station communications and SCADA systems.
- Attend site walks quality & commissioning kick off meetings and training sessions and provide technical assistance during project as required.
- Works with local utilities and grid operators with the development of connection and energization documentation.
- Provides input on commissioning schedule development and implementation to the project team.
Qualifications
- Postsecondary diploma/engineering degree/trade licenses in a related discipline or relevant industry/trade background
- 7 to 10 years of progressive experience with 2 years of experience in utilityscale solar project construction.
- Knowledge and application of health safety and environment principles/procedures/ legislation.
- Knowledge of utilityscale solar construction industry including building materials construction specifications methods in conjunction with procedures safety and quality management practices for more complex projects or scopes.
- Strong planning organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritizes direct report tasks for prompt .
- Manage and lead the startup commissioning process.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders and decisionmakers.
- Effective verbal written and interpersonal communication skills.
- Demonstrated strong problemsolving and decisionmaking skills.
- Ability and willingness to travel for out of town commissioning projects.
Supervision/Direction
- Based on contract requirements and project size direct and indirect reports may include a combination of students/interns site engineers project engineers.
- This includes mentoring and coaching of more junior staff.

The salary range for this position is between $105800 and $136900per annum based on experience and qualifications.
