The Opportunity
Lead and guide your team with expert Injury Management advice as they assist injured workers on their journey to recovery and a return to full duties.
Your New Role
Join QBEs Managed Fund Claims (Workers Compensation) team in this critical role. We are looking for a strong experienced Injury Management Specialist to take command of coaching and supporting the team while driving the overall success of our SelfInsurance business clients.
The role will include:
- Provide proactive expert injury management advice to claims staff and clients.
- Identify opportunities for improvement in processes procedures standards and guidelines ensuring they align with best industry practices.
- Ensure full compliance with regulatory and legislative requirements for medical and injury management interventions.
- Contribute to the creation of training materials and policies around injury treatment and medical management best practices.
- Boost team performance and elevate the broader business capability through direct training and coaching.
About You
- Extensive experience in workers compensation claims specifically SelfInsurance.
- Preferred qualifications and experience in psychology.
- Background in Allied Health Clinical supervisory or workplacebased rehabilitation.
- Strong uptodate knowledge of workers compensation laws with a focus on legislative knowledge and work capacity decisions.
- Proven experience coaching Case Managers driving decisions and managing complex claims.
- Strong communication people skills and the ability to build a solid network.
