Job Title: Associate Procurement & Sourcing
Location: 50 Hudson Yards New York NY 10001
Job Duties: Assist in the development of strategic sourcing opportunities through competitive bidding proofofconcept demand management supplier consolidation and process reengineering. Own the full strategic sourcing cycle including vendor identification and selection price negotiation and contract drafting and editing. Collaborate with global crossfunctional teams to negotiate Master Services Agreements Master Hosted Services Agreements Statements of Work reseller agreements and Service Level Agreements. Align the business unit and local regional and global organization to maximize achievement of sourcing objectives and continuity of supply to position sourcing as a competitive advantage for BlackRock. Ensure that key internal stakeholders understand the value of engaging Sourcing and Vendor Management (SVM) which includes championing the benefits of bestinclass strategic sourcing principles and practices and the importance of appropriate supplier relationships to ensure sustainability. Simultaneously support a robust pipeline of sourcing projects and broader strategic projects. Develop market research and benchmarking of suppliers and related service categories. Four 4 days in office and one 1 day remote per week.
Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Business Administration Engineering (any) Finance Economics or related field. 36 months of experience in a Senior Buyer or related role. Requires three 3 years of experience in each of the following skills:
1. Strategic sourcing at a consulting firm technology organization or financial services firm;
2. Negotiating global contracts including negotiating fees and servicelevel agreements and articulating deliverables;
3. Drafting and editing vendor contracts including Master Service Agreements Software License Agreements Hardware Purchase Agreements Statements of Work Amendments and Change Orders;
4. Preparing and leading Requests for Information (RFIs) Requests for Quotation (RFQs) and Requests for Proposal (RFPs) including vendor selection and application of the vendor risk due diligence process;
Requires two 2 years of experience in each of the following skills:
1. Utilizing financial modelling techniques to build multiple negotiation scenarios total cost of ownership models consumption models and demand forecasts.
Requires one 1 year of experience in each of the following skills:
1. Synthesizing data from thirdparty market research providers and based on internal and external network resources; and
2. Procurement technologies including Coupa DocuSign and either Microsoft Power BI or Tableau.
