Job Description

Challenger School is seeking a talented individual to join our team in Utah as a music teacher. Music is a vital part of Challengers proven curriculum. As a music teacher at Challenger you will be responsible for teaching children music concepts such as rhythm singing recognition interpretation movement and dance. You will have the opportunity to work with multiple grade levels and will also plan and direct the music for the annual Christmas Sing and Spring Program events.

Responsibilities

  • Thoroughly learn and deliver Challengers curriculum teaching methods and philosophy
  • Maintain a safe and productive classroom environment
  • Assist teachers in multiple classes with music curriculum and concepts
  • Produce student musical programs twice yearly
  • Work patiently with students parents and coworkers

Qualifications

  • 2 years of college education or equivalent classic music training and experience in music voice and/or piano
  • Proficiency in piano accompaniment and voice delivery techniques
  • Ability to pass a background check
  • Completion of preemployment assessments
