As the Time Capture Lead you will be is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the Time Capture teams activities ensuring a strong commitment to service excellence. Leading a team by providing mentorship guidance and training while also playing a key role in conducting performance reviews. You will serve as a point of escalation for any issues and work closely with crossfunctional teams to meet organizational goals.

Essential Responsibilities:
- Ensures accuracy completeness and timeliness in the preparation of all payroll activities for submission to Corporate Payroll for processing
- Provides leadership guidance and training to team by assigning and outlining specific activities advising on technical problems and reviewing individual work
- Assists the Time Capture team in implementing the appropriate processes to ensure all reporting is accurate and timely per operational and divisional requirements
- Collaborates with key stakeholders to offer ongoing support to business operations
- Leverages technical expertise to support system enhancements and provide recommendations for future development
- Reviews new contracts (Collective Agreements Prejobs etc. to identify payroll implications and monitors operational business process changes to ensure required changes and workflow are addressed
Qualifications:
- Completion or working toward Payroll Compliance Professional Certification
- 3 years of experience within payroll or similar function
- Previous supervisory experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Relevant time capture experience within JD Edwards InEight Quickbase OmniPrem and Billflex or similar software
- Collaborative mindset strong communication and analytical skills
- Commitment to continuous improvement and excellent customer service skills
Work Conditions:
- This is a hybrid role working from home and attending the office minimum once per week or as business needs require
