Key Responsibilities:
As a Midas technician your responsibilities will include:
- Perform diagnostics and testing on various vehicle systems including cooling starting & charging A/C and engine.
- Conduct cooling system testing and radiator replacements.
- Perform muffler repairs and exhaust replacements.
- Carry out scheduled maintenance oil changes and courtesy inspections.
- Conduct tire repairs installations steering & suspension and alignments.
- Utilize shop equipment including lifts tire change equipment alignment machines and scan tools efficiently and safely.
- Follow all safety and environmental standards for repair facilities.
- Test drive vehicle to make sure vehicle meets all safety requirements before returning it to the customer.
- 35 years of experience as an automotive technician.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently while also having experience working well in a team environment.
- Strong diagnostic skills for a variety of automotive systems.
- Experience with both foreign and domestic vehicles.
- Possession of personal tools is required.
- High School Diploma or equivalent; a technical degree is a plus.
- Valid drivers license.
- Ability to stand for extended periods bending reaching and walking.
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
