Support Worker

Here at Avondale lodge we support residents that have a range of needs such as autism mental health needs learning disabilities and challenging behaviours. Our aim is to assist them in their daily lives to develop new life skills achieve their ambitions and goals and for them to continue to be valued members of the community.

What youll be doing:

  • Full flexibility is needed and you must be able to cover all of the following shifts as part of the rota 7:30 am to 4 pm 8 am to 9 pm 9 am to 3 pm and 4 pm to 9 pm.
  • Will involve working weekends and bank holidays. You will also be available to cover waking nights and sleepins when required.
  • You will work as part of a team ensuring a safe and caring supportive environment is maintained which meets the individual and group needs of the people that live with us.
  • Supporting activities within the service and supporting to access the community.
  • The role will involve assisting with personal care domestic support preparing meals updating our internal systems and reviewing care plans risk assessments and monthly reports.
